Wood Is Good, Life Is A Petting Zoo! (Innocence and Dreams)

Judy Underwood, Chasing Rainbow, Google.com

Thursday Flash Fiction Week 28: Innocence and Dreams

Wood is good,
which sets one in mood,
no need much food,
not obligated to be understood,
none will be fooled
to be sued,
Forests are cool,
Animal skins are smooth like wool,
Rivers roam, swimming pool,
Camp without worrying about too many a tool,
If a dream comes true
then no more random blue,
Morning dew,
Sparkle like lovely birds' hue,
April fool,
Sad man's cure,
Love can be pure,
Life is a petting zoo!

The Red Leemina Song (Humor, Poetry, Mini Fiction...)

when i had no job I made
writing my job. when I had
no rice my eyeballs harvested.
.
when i had no voices i waited.
when i had no choices i stayed indoor.
when i had no energy i read from a bookstore.
.
when i had no faith i made
my common sense the faith. when i had no
knowledge i went to see sunset.
.
when i missed Broadway gallery, Chicago
history became my memory. when i left
Austin for Seattle education, Italian sandwiches
become my branch of aromas from Subway.
.
when I'm lost in the ocean of sailing,
google and wordpress come to my rescue. when i'm
echoing love among poems from knowledge, not bookstore,
I find hope and options through pedals behind my back.

John Keats : When I Have Fears (A Sonnet Feature, 14 lines)

image from google.com

When I have fears that I may cease to be
before my pen has gleaned my teeming brain,
Before high-piled books, in character
hold like rich garners the full ripened grain,
when i behold upon the night's
Huge cloudy symbols of a high romance,
and think that I may never live to trace,
Their shadows, with the magic hand of chance,
and when i feel, fair creature of an hour,
That I shall never look upon thee more,
Never have relish in the faery power,
of unreflected love-then on the shore,
of the wide world i stand alone, and think
till love and fame to nothingness do sink.
