According to the Plymouth Herald‘s William Telford, this year’s Plymouth Pride celebration will include a performance of poetry and prose.
The Pride celebration will take place at the China House in Sutton Harbour on Thursday August 6th. The festivities are meant to represent the “city’s lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans (LGBT) communities” and will include spoken word performances as well as musical performances to promote and encourage diversity within the community.
Performers will include Carroll Davids, Peter Davey, Martin Perry, Holly Rabey, Alan Butler and Chris Parsons, according to Telford’s article. The event will begin at 7:30pm. Pride in Plymouth is the non-profit organization responsible for organizing the event.
